House Movers Tv Show - Meet the movers in a different way. From a lighthouse to a steam locomotive, these teams take on the task of moving massive monuments and overcoming huge obstacles along the way.
We start with Risky Rescue, where the team moves an entire lighthouse off a cliff on Nantucket Island before the crumbling rock starts to give way, and experts move houses threatened by a mine collapse in a Swedish town. Next, in 100 Tonne Train, a British haulage team is tasked with taking an old steam locomotive from Bloemfontein, South Africa to Glasgow, where it was originally built sixty years ago. After the traffic police deem the truck incapable of carrying such a large load 600 miles to the port of Durban, the team must find an alternative plan.

Next Moving Ancient Egypt tells the story of one of the biggest mega-moves of all time – the relocation of 20 of Egypt's most beautiful ancient temples from the rising waters of the Nile in the 1960s. In order to recreate the methods used, leading construction companies attempt to cut, lift and reassemble a replica of the Ramesses sandstone statue.

Blizzard Battle follows two teams of movers as they battle extreme weather conditions to relocate two heavy wooden buildings - a gigantic clubhouse in Manitoba and a historic farmhouse and barns in Virginia. Next, in Snake Country, the teams try to move a historic 300-ton farm in Texas and a two-story dream home in Seattle.
Finally, Hauling History finds movers who hope to transport two precious pieces of history to new places. The 1000 Shades Murillo Hall has four stories thick brick walls and is very fragile, will it survive the transformation? And in Vancouver, we see a Lockheed Lodestar being unloaded and transported across the highway. The A&E hit SELL THIS HOUSE helped Massachusetts-based family business Mercury Moving shoot the episode in Brookline, MA. But when the producers saw how dynamic and photogenic the movements were, the crew ended up being part of the episode, which will air on Sunday, January 22 at 5 p.m., and then repeat.
Boston-based Mercury Moving & Storage Systems will be featured on A&E's SELL THIS HOUSE this Sunday, January 22nd at 5:00 p.m.
Hosted by Tanya Memme and Roger Hazard, A&E presents "This Old House" and "Candid Camera." In the episode, a Brooklyn home is converted into a buyer-friendly home. Seattle-based Screaming Flea Productions enlisted Mercury to do the heavy lifting and storage.

"Filming in motion was definitely a new twist for us, but it was also fun!" says Garry Hennessy, director of Mercury Moving. Garry and his wife Jessica own and operate Mercury Moving & Storage Systems in Avon.
"The producers called me and asked if we wanted to be in it," commented Jessica. "I totally said we specialize in moving homes and have the best looking team in town!"
Garry and a friend from Wayland High School started Mercury Moving in 1997 with a humble pickup truck and trailer. It has since become the 24th largest moving company in the Boston area, as reported in the 2006 Boston Business Journal Book of Lists.
