Naval Air Station Oceana (virginia Beach)
Due to the ongoing new coronavirus pandemic, many businesses, venues and parks may be temporarily closed or operating under limited hours. Therefore, the place we are talking about here is not currently open or available. Check every site, there is no shortage of accessibility throughout the area.
Unfortunately, there are no Amtrak lines serving Virgin Beach. However, Amtrak bus stops are linked to Amtrak schedules, and you can get more information on the Amtrak website.
There is one major airport (Norfolk International Airport) that is 30 minutes from Oceana Naval Air Station. Richmond's closest major airport, Richmond International Airport, is approximately two hours from NAS Ocean.
All officers on base must have a valid military ID, veteran's or retiree's ID, valid driver's license and valid driver's insurance card. Visitor pass, go to the pass and sign the office sticker and sign.
A Diversified Portfolio
All reporting personnel must stop at the Quarterdeck, located in Bldg. 230 at Tomcat Blvd. Here you will confirm your orders at the Junior Office Day (JOOD) station. Quarterdeck is staffed 24 hours a day and can be reached at 1 (757) 433-2366. Upon completion of the IOOD, all military personnel are sent to the Personnel Support Desks located in Bldg. 326 on Avenue D.
The DEERS office is where you can go to apply for an Oceana Pass and Dependent IDs and Cards. You can also complete an online application to obtain a passport and identity card. If you lose your card, you will need to stop to get a replacement Ocean Pass and sticker.
NAS Oceana has two access points and Dam Neck Annex has one door. The Tomcat Boulevard gate is considered the main gate of NAS Ocean.
